 Hydration
I know some of you do longer rides and more than just around town...
What are you using for hydration besides water? Tried any cycling nutrition drinks like Accelerade, etc?

Your mother's breast milk works wonders, but only if straight from the nipple.
Sorry. I really wanted to contribute in some way, but I don't actually have experience here. So, instead, I made a funny. You're welcome.

Word on the street is that Lance Armstrong likes FRS Energy Drinks. https://secure.frs.com/vip/search/about.aspxCBanks drinks that nasty Red Bull stuff. Me? I like water. Though I sometimes pronounce is wooder or wahter. It's what Dave Zabriskie uses and I blindly do whatever DZ tells me to do in various endorsements or hilarious videos.

 Re: Hydration
Stay away from aspertame and other artifical sweetners. if you dont want to drink just water, find something low in sugar, some sodium, and high in electrolytes.
Energy bars and most granolas have the required protein, sodium and sugars you need. You can go to the first-aid section of any drug store and buy electrolyte tabs for cheap, then all you need is water.

Keith,
Yeah, I'm actually cool with water... but I need some nutrients on 2-3+ hour rides.

 Re: Hydration
I love the sport beans, but they're pretty much all HF corn syrup. Not exactly nutritious. I've been looking at the energy gels & similar lately, but I'm still kind of a Powerbar kind of guy. Half a bar every hour I'm on the bike these days.
